Goals
- To improve the nutritional and health status of children in the age group of 0-6 years.
- To lay the foundation for the proper psychological, physical and social development of the child.
- To reduce the incidence of mortality, morbidity, and malnutrition.
- To enhance the capability of the mother to look after the normal health and nutrition health of the child through proper nutrition and health education.
- Provide essential health services to young children, pregnant and pregnant mothers and adolescent girls lactating mothers and adolescent girls through Anganwadi.
- Providing preprimary education for children aged 3-6 years in Anganwadi.
- To prevent female feticide and to ensure the survival, education and protection of the girl child.
- To economically empower destitute widows by providing them with financial assistance and vocational training.
- To provide shelter, police desk, legal, medical and counselling services to woman or child victims of violence under one roof integrated with a 24*7 Helpline.
- To prevent the trafficking of women for commercial sexual exploitation and to facilitate the reintegration of the victims into the family and society.
- To promote the availability of safe and conveniently located accommodation for working women with daycare facilities for their children.
- To cater to the primary need of shelter, food, clothing, medical treatment and care of women in distress and those who are without any social and economic support.
- To create an alternative system of justice for the woman that gives quick justice to the woman in a minimum cost with understanding their feelings.
- To promote birth rate of girl child with schemes like VahaliDikari Scheme.
