The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Protection and Rredressal) Act 2013
The act protects women against "sexual harassment" in both public and private workplaces, protecting their constitutional rights to gender equality, safe living, and equality and freedom in the workplace.
The Gender Resource Center an autonomous body of Women and Child Development Department is doing intensive work on awareness, research, capacity building and coordination for effective implementation of this Act.
