“Sankat Sakhi” application has been launched by the Department of Women and Child Development, Gandhinagar. The main objective of which is that women can easily get information about women-oriented schemes of the government in a single application and people can use it to spread awareness in the society.
This application provides complete information about 5 different women oriented schemes and includes the following details:
Police Station Based Support Centre
Sakhi One Stop Centre
Nari Sarakshan Gruh/Kendra
Sakhi Nivas
Shakti Sadan
Features of Sankat Sakhi Mobile App are as follows
Details of support centers under the scheme, details of nearest police station and contact number, which can be called directly
Videography prepared under the scheme
For emergency number 181 Abhayam can be called directly from the application.
This application will also work offline.
The application includes details of provisions of women oriented laws and punishments for crimes.
